I lived in Asheville '03 to '06 and it's an awesome little city in the most beautiful mountains.
As for BBQ, there are a few joints here and there, but
12 Bones seems to be the "top spot" in town. The other favorite is
Ed Boudreaux's which is centrally located downtown.
