The Cobb Salad seems to have a fairly standard list of ingredients: lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, chicken breast, hard-boiled eggs, avocado, blue cheese, and chives, with a vinaigrette dressing. A lot of places serve a chopped salad that is very similar to Cobb salad; for example, the ingredients in the chopped salad at Maggiano's (which is very good, BTW) are almost exactly the same as a Cobb: "Chopped iceberg lettuce, diced tomatoes, crumbled bleu cheese, green onion, avocado, crispy Prosciutto, tossed in our signature House Dressing" (with chicken optional).
