That sounds like a reasonable rationale, though I must say, such dainty concerns seem somewhat out of sync with this aggressively gloppy creation, which appears to be a big boisterous belch in the face of good taste (I don't mean propriety; I mean what happens on the tongue).
On the way back from dinner tonight, we were discussing the LB and The Baconator (Wendy's), and The Wife wondered aloud why it is, in this time of increased sensitivity to excessive fats, cholesterol, red meat intake, etc., that such things come to exist. It's almost as though they are mocking declarations of immunity to such healthy concerns, defiant over-indulgences standing arms akimbo and shouting belligerently at the looming Nanny State, "I eat what I please, even if it's bad for me, even if it doesn't taste that good, because I can, dammit, and I will!"
Still, it is very cool of Gus to consent to make these.
