Fresh cranberries after the holidays?

Post #1 - February 2nd, 2009, 10:04 amHas anyone seen fresh cranberries at stores not during Thanksgiving/Xmas holiday season? I have a cranberry clafoutis recipe that I'd love to make once a month if I could get fresh cranberries. Otherwise in the past I've used frozen peaches successfully. I think I tried frozen cranberries before and was unimpressed, but if anyone has seen those around I might give them a try again. I'm on the far NW side of Chicago near Niles and Park Ridge.

Post #2 - February 2nd, 2009, 10:41 amthey've got organic cranberries at the least at the meijer's in arlington heights. was there last night for groceries and was surprised at seeing a *bunch* of them since we're out of the holiday season.
