I saw this article, posted elsewhere by eli. In addition to summing up my feelings about eating cute fuzzy creatures, it discusses issues surrounding sustainability - it's a good summation of how I feel about it (except I don't think that a frutarian's hands are really clean, either.)

Please either read the positive connotation of "chic," or sub in "aesthetic," in my earlier post. I consider myself lucky to have time, geography, and resources like LTH to be able to access and evaluate foods and strategies to make me happier and our regional producers stronger. I include GNR-grazing among these activities, since many of the proprietors strike a good balance of growing or buying their ingredients locally, and importing responsibly.
