I am immensely curious about this development, are they in the frozen food section or elsewhere? I love Carol's chocolate chunk and dried cherry cookies but haven't been able to locate them recently when visiting WF, I would be tempted to buy the cartons by the truckload if they would let me.
Mattkrc wrote:Oh my goodness, Carol's cookies by the truckload sound devilishly perfect! This was the first time I saw the cookie dough cartons ever. They were situated somewhat near the cheese coolers along the West-side wall of the new Lincoln Park megastore, adjacent to the packaged Swirlz cupcakes and Karyn's Raw desserts. The regular Carol's Cookies were in their usual bakery spots, piled on stands near the bread and other local sweet treats.
I'll have to walk away from possible Pie Dude reactions.Pie Lady wrote:JSM wrote:Just curious.....what made you stop?Pie Lady wrote:-I used to suck on raw hot dogs until I could no longer taste the brine.
I don't usually buy dogs anymore; they're so unhealthy that when I get a craving, I'd rather go out for one prepared dog instead of having a package of 10 sitting at home.
Also, I'm self-conscious about what Pie Dude's reaction might be.

"Guys, guys, that sounded great - this track's got gold record written all over it! Just one small change though: what if you changed 'suck on raw hot dogs' to 'squeeze my lemon'? C'mon guys, do it for me, just to see if it works."

Oh no, your reply made my day. The fact that you think I misinterpreted your answer tells me you did not spend your teenage years watching The Song Remains the Same at the midnight movie, listening to the sounds of beer bottles rolling slowly down the floor of the movie theater, hearing random freak shouts of "John Robert Bonham!", and looking around after you woke up at the end of the movie to see if anyone had made it without passing out.* Watching this at home will just never come close to the multimedia experience going on in the early '80s.grits wrote:Khaopaat wrote:Does anybody remember laughter?grits wrote:BBC Studios, London, 1969:

I'm wondering if my attempt at humor was a bit obscure. Here's what your "raw hot dogs" line reminded me of (and subsequently got stuck in my head for a good few hours):

One of my favorite Led Zeppelin songs.
