Post #15 - October 28th, 2009, 8:29 amPrior to last week's lunch at Angin Mamiri, I'd never eaten Indonesian food. So I can't say, actually, that this was a good or bad or representative Indonesian experience. I can say, though, that I enjoyed the food and I'm looking forward to returning.
The owner told us that he'll be having a Rijstafel, a Indonesian small-plates sampling, perhaps as early as next month. GAF encouraged him to let us know when he's ready for such a feast as he could probably book one of the first nights with LTHers alone.
Like ketchup, but with a whiff of Sriracha.
A thick soy sauce.
Complimentary crab rangoon. He had me at, "complimentary."
