It is true that we are neither a grammar website nor a social movement one, but there is something odd about the phrasing above. I believe that member of the IWFS can be of either gender, which suggests that female members will be wearing black tie and female non-members will wear business suits. And then this other category of being "ladies" (of whom there may be few on this board) can wear their usual fineness (perhaps black tie or business suits?).
Well, it sounds like a fine dinner, members, non-members, and ladies all.
