Finally got My Bride over there for Breakfast/Lunch after a miscue last Monday (closed Mondays. Even UBAA was closed with a power outage).
She had her standard, 2 eggs over easy, bacon... with the addition of Old Potatoes and house made bread.
It easily took the top honors of The Best Breakfast she has had in a long time. I think she has the seasoning figured out on the Old Potatoes and is eager to try them at home.
I had 'The Gary' with the Old Potatoes and a bowl of Split Pea soup.
What? No Jalapenos?

Great sandwich, nice and greasy as a patty melt should be and the soup, nice and thick with a surprise chunk of ham once and a while. All it needed was a dash of salt. I really enjoyed the crunchy bits in the old potatoes.
My Bride is glad Patty's is not closer as we would be over there every day.

With a month and a half left we can make a few more trips over there before they close.
Update on her closing... August 13th was the date mentioned and she is thinking about taking some time off and then 'maybe' opening at a new location. If anyone is interested, the 3 store fronts (of which Patty occupies one) is being sold for $450K.
