What about delivery a little further north? There's an 11:58 Metra train from Davis that gets to Highland Park at 12:24 and a 12:34 train from HP that gets back to Davis at 1:00. Make it a regular once a week delivery, say Wednesday, and I am sure we can get enough people to order to make it worth your while. I am only half-kidding. I need me a Nutella shake and those garlic fries.
Suzy Creamcheese wrote:Wait, Edzo's delivers? Would those boundaries happen to stretch to include those of us in the burgerless desert that is West Rogers Park?

I agree, FIVE minutes? Come on. I'll put money on that.Suzy Creamcheese wrote:Habibi wrote:The burger with grilled onions, jalapenos, pickles and mustard I had from Five Guys near the Loyola red line stop, along with excellent and abundant fries, was excellent. Sometimes I read things here that makes me wonder what roads you all are traversing. It takes me twenty minutes to get anywhere.

This evanston really has somehting going on.

I tried to keep it simple, I ordered the 4oz griddle burger with everything except onions, merkt's cheddar fries and a vanilla malt. The burger was really good, I liked the texture of the meat, the burnt ends really added something to the burger. I liked it's simplicity as well, I mean for a burger, a real hamburger, this was some good shit. The fries were good, I could do without them next time, it was just a lot of food and the malt was amazing, as I was telling my friends, the second best shake I've ever had. One of my friends ordrered an oreo shake, which of course I had to sample and this thing was amazing. I'm definitely going for that option next time I stop in. The day I was there, the also had a Mexican Spicy Chocolate shake. I didn't see it until after I ordered, but it sounded good.

I saw the brat on the menu but didn't notice the Sheboygan part. Is is really a Sheboygan-style brat? 2 brats served on a butter hamburger-style bun, with mustard, onions, pickles? The bun they use for their burger is awfully close to what they use for brats.
EvanstonFoodGuy wrote:I haven't seen the Edzo brat bun, but after living in Wisconsin for many years I can say that a true old style Wisconsin Brat will have more of a elongated oval style bun, not long and thin like your typical hot dog bun.
The bun will also be tougher then a hot dog bun. This is a good thing because many people use the onions that the brats were stewed in along with beer/water before the brats are char grilled.
viaChgo wrote:Actually in my experience in Sheboygan, ketchup on a brat is pretty common.

Well, you can't leave that out there without answering the hidden question....
So the Oreo shake...does it have little chunks in it or is it totally smooth so you can drink it through the straw?
