I made my second visit to Leo's this afternoon, and after wading through a huge 2pm crowd and a good half-hour wait, my patience was rewarded.
In my last post, the only flaw I could find was the Lemon Rice Soup not being what I remembered, and then learning afterwards from one of the owners that the batch that day was not to their standards. The promise made to me that day was that when I returned I would be more than happy with the soup - and Jason was a man of his word. The soup was exactly as I remembered it from back in the "old country", and as last time, the Greek Salad and Pita were great.
We had a chance to chat with one of the other owners, Jeremy, as well today, and found him to be like Jason - attentive to the expectations of his demanding clientele. Our server was great - another ex-Detroiter - and the place just emitted a great vibe of happy people eating simple but well-prepared comfort food.
Kudos to all associated with Leo's.
