Miller's Pub has many charms--but for me, it's the chance to order disappearing old-school classics like a perch dinner or turkey club. Why get a burger, when you can get a open-faced meatloaf sandwich?
Nonetheless, I tried the Greekburger this past Sunday. Very tasty . . . even if you're not a huge burger fan. In fact, it's more like the soft cutlets one occasionally finds in Greek and Middle Eastern cuisine and less like a burger. Reminiscent of gyros but without any sense of greasiness, and the coarse greens and spices that are mixed are actually visible in the patty. Covered with a not-too-thick layer of feta. (And, somehow, they got it to melt.) Comes with standard-issue fries and a delightful small side salad of olives, tomatoes, feta chunks, and a snappy house oil/vinegar dressing.
Many are probably familiar with this burger, but I couldn't help giving it a small shout-out.
(I took a picture, but had trouble using the Img button--sorry.)
