Hi- Thanks for all the suggestions. I ended up going to Bombon. I decided that it was too far to walk there, so I drove there, and spend a dollar on parking. I am surprised that there are so few restaurants within walking distance of the college. The only place close I saw was Church's Chicken, and I did not want to go there. People were told to go to Greektown or Roosevelt for lunch.
Bombon was good, but I thought it was a little expensive. Everything was more expensive than the prices posted on their website. I had a grilled vegetable sandwich, which came with a small handful of barbecue potato chips, and was $8.95. I had a 12 oz. coffee with that, which was $2.25, which I thought was kind of expensive for good, but not great coffee.
They were really quick to bring my sandwich, but it took me a while to give them my order. They only had one person taking orders, and she was also manning the take out bakery. The baked goods did look really good. Hope this helps, Nancy
