Mazzoni's, another Louisville great, also shut its doors not long ago. This tavern, famous for rolled oysters, had been in business since 1884.
Also, Kaelin's, the self-described "birthplace of the cheeseburger," went out of business after about 75 years. That's three of Louisville's oldest and most famous eateries, gone.
