There are more than a dozen posts in these forums about the excellent, sustainably farmed shrimp from Belize that have been all over the menus of fine restaurants and shops around town. I was saddened to learn yesterday - as I was attempting to purchase the fantastic shrimp salad that City Provisions used to make - that the owner of the shrimp farming company died in a plane crash last year. As of this January, the company has made the decision to stop production, and the shrimp will not be available for the foreseeable future.
