This was the manager, but I suppose I can give a heads-up to one of he heads of the company.
'Cuz if I ask, that ruins the surprise, and could be met with an "oh you don't have to do that, it's my job". Then I just feel like I'm pushing it on them.
Anyway, I like the muffin/shortbread/possibly brownie idea, so I'll make a nice little basket this weekend.
