It tastes GREAT, though some of that may just have to do with the blueberries themselves. These were some of the sweetest ones I'd ever tasted--I wish I could remember what KIND they were, but sadly, I don't.

I usually just have a batch in the freezer and thaw it as needed. I used Meyer lemons instead of regular ones (since they looked and smelled SO good at the store) and I skipped the glaze and just made a simple shortbread dough to crumble on top. The recipe says to mix the berries in, but I just left them on top, because I thought it would look prettier.
