Stopped Saturday morning at Widmer's in Theresa(Open 7am) on my way to Lomira.
Just a quick jaunt off HWY41. If you want to actually see cheese being made, then you must go on a weekday. Strange because the cows don't take days off!
Widmer's makes Brick, Aged Brick, Cheddar of various ages and Colby.
Picked up a brick of mild Cheddar($5.29/#)(Dogs favorite), a brick of aged Brick and a 2# irregular piece of 10 year old Cheddar($2/# price break).
The 10 year old is as good as any I have ever had in that age range. Mild Cheddar is mild Cheddar and aged Brick is not for everyone.
There are various other cheeses and stuff for sale as befits a small cheese shop but there are no Bloody Mary's or other amusements, just an honest business selling honest products made right there.
