Post #1 - March 9th, 2012, 12:38 pmI will be working at McCormick Place this weekend at the ungodly hour of 7am. I don't cook that early, it's against my religion.
I will be coming in on I-94; getting off at Jackson, then heading south on LSD. I could use a place that is open for a good solid breakfast for under $10, somewhere along this route so I don't get lost. No greasy spoons, but diners are fine. I see that Shor is right there, but it looks a little pricey. Any hints?

What is matzo brie? I can only assume cheese made with crackers.

My sense of direction is terrible. I was at this location last year and had no idea I was 3 minutes from McCormick.

Post #8 - March 9th, 2012, 4:05 pmThe Ramova Grill is very close to McCormick and, if rumors are correct, will be closing in April. It's a terrific place, I highly recommend the chili omelette.
