Based on one of the previous posts, I tried Benedict's for the first time today.
There were people waiting outside, so I went inside to give my name. I was told it would be about 15 minutes to get a table for 2. We were seated in about 5 minutes.
My daughter had French Toast. It was 3 very large slices from French bread. I sneaked a taste, and it was very good. She also had the fresh squeezed OJ, which was also very good. Sometimes kids are not too big on the fresh squeezed stuff due to the pulp. Since this was a kid's size, perhaps they strain it.
I had an Omelet with Ham, Cheese and Onion, with a side of Turkey Sausage. I asked if the Omelets were "Fluffy", and the server said yes. It was very good, but not Puffy/Fluffy like the ones are Walker's Pancake House, and some of the other local breakfast spots. The Turkey Sausage was excellent. I also got a fruit cup, which I gave to my daughter. She said it was very good.
Perhaps the best part of breakfast was the Coffee. They serve Intelligentsia. This is among the very best coffee I have ever had ANYWHERE! I think it's their own special blend. I purchased a package to make at home.. I have a good drip pot with a burr grinder. It will be interesting to see if this will approach the taste from the restaurant.
The menu has several variations on Eggs Benedict, and several Southwest inspired options including Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros, and the obligatory breakfast burrito.
I will definitely be back.
