Dear hubby and I finally tried out the 123 Ritter's Breakfast minus the delivery. We live a couple blocks from the Clark Street location, so we decided to dine in. Upon arrival, it was bustling with activity. I ordered the special, chocolate raspberry french toast, and hubby got the breakfast burrito.
There is only inside seating, and it was quite steamy in there. With the coffee, which was good, I felt like a got an exfoliation. And yes, the coffee exfoliation was free, as the coffee was on the house, due to a bit of a wait. I would have much preferred to sit outside, where it was cooler, but there is no outside seating.
After observing the hustling and bustling of the business for a while, we got our food. Both items were good.
I think this business concept is a great one for the market. Just something that some people would use more frequently than me. Hubby and I are very capable when it comes to making breakfast, so if we wanted to eat at home, we'd probably just making something at least as good ourselves. If we had company and we all wanted to laze around and eat different things, this would fit the bill. As far as dining in at the Clark Street location, I think you'd get faster service if you dined at a regular restaurant, plus the dining room would be be a bit more comfortable.
