    Hello Folks,

As the season is winding down quickly this year on crawfish due to little rain in the river basin areas of Louisiana we are glad to have at least one more boil. The sunday of Memorial day weekend is where it all started for us 13 years ago. This year will be know different with over 900 lbs of live mudbugs !! As always Red Beans & Rice, Muffaletta sandwiches as well as the goodies in the pot. Abita Beer on special and a great DJ spinning New Orleans toons! Hope you can make it as it will be probably be the end of this years crawfish season much earlier than usual... Start time is NOON and $25 gets you all you can stomach!!! Thanks,

    Danny

I finally attended my first crawfish boil at Toons a couple of weeks ago, and man was it fantastic. The crawfish tasted EXACTLY like a heaping plate of them I had on a recent trip to Baton Rouge. It was eerie.

I can't make it to this one, but if you've never been (and heck, even if you have) I can't recommend this highly enough.

    Josh,

Thanks for the kind words and was great to meet you even for just a minute. So glad you enjoyed the crawfish. We have some well trained veteran cookers and a few boys from Louisiana manning the pots! This will be a good time..DB

As great as they've all been, the last boil was a new echelon of great. Maybe just a little spicier and more garlicky than in the past. The crawfish themselves are mighty fine, but a plate of potatoes and mushrooms out of that pot, smeared with the many sweet, whole garlic cloves, is itself worth the price of admission.

I have been cursed this crawfish season. I have had some sort of conflict with every single Toons crawfish boil this year. Wish I could be there. Like everyone else has already said, Toons knows how to throw a world class crawfish boil.

Since nobody specified, is this the Toons at 3857 N. Southport?

Would we be able to bring our teenager along or is it 21+ only?

Yes as long as the door man is aware and the teenager is with you at your table no problem! Hope to see some folks out today!

Can't make it today, but a Toon's crawfish boil is one of the best times you can have standing up.
