My girlfriend wanted to check out Rivers Casino Saturday night, so I reluctantly went along. I knew it was small, I knew it would be wall to wall people, and I knew I personally wouldn't be gambling except on my dinner, which I decided would be at Flipt - the burger place at the casino.
The casino itself was pretty nice as far as local casinos go. I don't like gambling unless I have a bankroll to play with at the tables, and I hate slot machines/video poker. So she went to try and find an open machine and I went to eat. My total tab for a burger and fries (no drink, I had water) was $12.00. Overpriced? I don't think so. Everyone is doing that now, so get used to it.

Of course I'm kidding, yeah it's overpriced!

You place your order at the register, they give you a number and bring it to you. Despite being very short staffed, they kept the tables cleared and clean.
The burger was cooked medium well (as I expected, I should have asked for medium or medium rare, but like I said, I was gambling!). It was served on a potato bread bun, which was pretty good. The burger reminded me a bit of Johnny Rockets (for better or worse) but it wasn't bad. The fries were very thin, fresh cut and I liked them, though my order was just warm, not hot and crisp. Overall it was decent, but nothing special. Had Paradise Pup down the street been open, I wouldn't have set foot in Flipt.
