I can't believe I've apparently never posted to this topic before. My diet is about 75% guilty pleasures.
-American cheese. When it comes to grilled cheese, omelettes, hell, just about anything involving melted cheese, I'll take American. The exception here is pizza, which brings me to:
-Provel. Love it. Fortunately, my sister-in-law lives right outside of St. Louis. Unfortunately, I'm the only person in that house who likes the stuff, so when we visit I'm always so close, yet so far away.
-Rice and stuff. I.e., rice with cheese (American, usually) with ketchup, or 1000 Island. Sometimes if I don't want to hate myself as much afterwards I use BBQ sauce and add chicken. But that's pretty rare.
-"Butterball" donuts from Huck Finn. These are close kin to the buttermilk donuts I once loved at Dunkin Donuts. Once those were gone, I never felt the need to darken their door again, aside from periods of coffee desperation. These aren't great donuts, they are too dense, heavy, and dry...yet I crave them all the time.
-Jimmy John's. What, like I can't make myself a turkey sandwich? Apparently not, since I go by my local about three times a week to get one made for me. In my defense, it's really really hard to make food when wrangling a toddler and a newborn, and I end up eating my sandwiches while pushing a stroller one-handed, so there's that.
