A quick search turned up one small blurb in the "April - June Openings, Closing" thread.
Sacco Bruno has been open for a few months, with a Friends and Family opening party last weekend. I know the owner through a friend, though I was not in attendance at the party (said friend gave me the scoop). I was visiting my friend in Bucktown last night and we stopped in for dinner. In the main area is a deli, with sandwiches, prepared foods, pizza, drinks - plus some grocery items to purchase. I did not spend much time looking around, as we sat down in back - there is a full bar, TVs and a nice vibe to eat in. You can order from the deli counter in front, or sit down in back and order from a server.
Mostly sandwiches, salads, and some sides. Deli sandwiches served cold, toasted grinders or hot subs. Typical Italian style ingredients (sopressatta, mortadella, etc), plus Chicago style items such as sausage and Italian Beef.
The ingredients are fresh and nicely presented. This has been a haunted location ever since the former art gallery closed and food purveyors took over the corner. We were really impressed with the quality of the ingredients, especially the bread. We both had sandwiches on the french rolls and they were really fresh, perfect amount of chew and good texture. I had the Turkey Provolone, with shaved roasted turkey breast, a spicy provolone and giardiniera.

If you live in the area, stop in and try a few things. Great for a quick lunch or dinner option in the neighborhood.
Thanks,
