Moderator Note:LTH,
We just removed a string of posts on this thread about yet another closing that did not actually happen. This is the second time this has happened in the past few days. Even though the error was subsequently corrected by the person who originally posted it, such irresponsible posts can be immeasurably damaging. Out of respect to the places in question, we removed the posts to ensure that the erroneously posted information does not inadvertantly find its way into an internet search someday.
Imagine how you would feel if someone posted publicly that your business or place of employment had closed when, in fact, it had not.
So please, if you are posting about a closing, do not do so without making absolutely certain that your information is correct and accurate in every way. In cases like these, it's way more important to be accurate than early with your information. The best course of action may be to make a phone call to the establishment before posting anything. But whatever you do, make sure you are 100% correct before posting about a closing on this thread or any other in these forums.
Thanks,
