Mods, if there is an existing thread for this place, please relocate, I couldn't find via searches.
I had wanted to try Flour and Stone for awhile now but rarely find myself in the nearby area around mealtime. Yesterday I was in the Streeterville area about 1.5 hours ahead of a 6pm event, so time to try.
You can view
Flour and Stone's menu, I ordered the classic.
Decent sausage, ok pepperoni (ok not quite a Chicago classic), very good/bright sauce, edge crust ok, bottom inner crust quite crisp.
There is something to be said for letting a pie cool down before eating, I was a bit hungry so dug in too soon, all hot temps filled my mouth. However once it had cooled a bit I dug in with gusto, I really enjoyed the pizza, especially the sauce.
It isn't something I'm going to rush back for but was very pleased and probably would stop by if in the area again.

I did absolutely nothing and it was everything I thought it could be.
