Here are some mouth-watering pix to tempt you from last year’s party,

You should make or bring something Cajun, Creole or something to drink or snack on
Just post what you want to bring so we can keep it balanced.
My house is not gigantic, so it's a good idea to keep this shindig to around 35ish people.
Once again my husband will round up some musician types for some music, so if you play,
bring your instrument along. (we already have a baby grand), and many guitars.
Recap: it will be Sun Feb 26, from 3-7 ish
We are in Deerfield, off Deerfield Rd between Edens and 294, and 0.5mi from the Deerfield Metra station.
I will PM address to attendees ahead of time.

Post #22 - January 16th, 2017, 2:05 pmI'm thinking of making some mini-muffaletta-type sandwiches. For the moment, I'll commit my sister to bringing some beer. Her son used to work at a brewery in New Orleans, so I can imagine she can get some recommendations from him.

we usually do get some jambalaya,
but whatever you want to bring is fine, so...
just let me know what you decide on.
It also sounds as though we are pretty close to being full up-
there are a few random people- musicians-

I'm glad to learn mini muffulettas seem like a good idea; I'll go with that. My (other) sister recently brought a jar of olive salad back from a trip to New Orleans for me (I mean, she brought the jar for me, not that she made the trip for me ), so I have the key ingredient.
