Expanding quickly (just opened their 5th outpost) - must be good, right?

Tried the newest at the river/Randolph and was less than impressed. Had the grilled shrimp (6 small, seemed boiled?) over the 1/2 veggies 1/2 grains. Maybe had 1 Brussels sprout total (shaved) and a bunch of broccoli stems joining way too many green beans. The grain mix was ok. Dressing choices (4) were never presented at ordering (nothing on their order card) and a small sign buried by the register with the list was rudely pointed out when I asked as I got my food. Asking for a taste of 2 was like asking for a free meal. Maybe they're too new to have it running on more than a couple cylinders.

Would love it to be good (proximity eating) - maybe there's a dish or two that people really like and we'll give it another shot. Please don't rec the 'St Peter's fish' catch of the day (aka tilapia)....

That's too bad to hear. You must mean the Riverside location (Randolph and Riverside), not the Randolph St (at Columbus) location. I work next door to that one and have been going there for at least 3 years. I like the grain bowls (with baby spinach) with usually grilled salmon on top. I totally recognize that their truffle parmesan tots are made with gimmicky "truffle oil" but despite that the parmesan tots are an ok indulgence with usually a good amount of parmesan on top.

The salmon/grain bowl is a smaller portion for $11, but I appreciate that it's made fresh and a relatively healthy lunch nearby my office. They also typically have some infused water.

This location has their dressings available for any guest to go help themselves - and I like their housemade choices.

There is a location now open at the Sears/Willis Tower. Bustling place at 12:45 on a Friday afternoon. I had the greens and grains box with spicy cauliflower with a side of buffalo bleu tots. I would have liked more buffalo and bleu with the tots, but they scratched the itch. I thought the box had a decent variety of nicely prepared vegetables and was healthy and filling. Should have gotten some of "boss sauce" though.

As a side note, I had placed an order through Ritual for pick-up. (Ritual is an app where you can order ahead at participating restaurants.) I stood there for several minutes waiting for my order that was allegedly ready. Turns out they had lost the ticket so the order was sitting in a different location. I regret not asking for a fresh meal but I was hungry. The staff was apologetic and I got a few extra points in my Ritual account after commenting on the experience.
