Sunday in a visit to what has become quite the interesting little block of restaurants on Western just south of the Kennedy (still Logan Square?)anchored by Think and Cafe Bolero, but now including Honey 1 (where I was) and Thai Eatery, I visited on my way back from the package store what was to me a new spot, a Birrieria on the west side of Western.
Having already ordered my ribs and okra, I couldn't try anything, but that will change next time I'm in the area. The place was small, simple, inviting, and airy with the front and side doors open. They had no unlaminated menus to take, but I can remember some of it. Although the communication was not great due to my limited Spanish, we did establish the several goat dishes. We also established, but I think I was wrong on this, that the cabeza and lengua tacos were also goat-that's not correct is it?
Anybody been there?
