Must say, I've been bummed by most of the baby cow I've had recently.
Still, last Saturday, The Wife and I went to Cafe Bionda and I had a Veal Francese that I thought was remarkably good: two slices big as my hand, dipped in an egg mixture, quickly fried so the subtle milkiness of fresh calf popped right through.
I know you asked about Veal Marsala, so I will simply say that the version I had last month at Trattoria 31 would be very good if you spent the afternoon drinking beer at Comisky (what's the new name, again?) and weren't paying that much attention to what you were eating.
