Its quite possible that Zaffiro's is my favorite find of all time on LTH. If you like super thin crust pizza and good salads and Jersey Italian food, go here. Prices are great too. I dont make it to Mil. without stopping here.

Sorry about the duplicate thread...couldn't find what I was looking for initially.

Wound up eating at a DELICIOUS German place called Mader's.

I blogged about it here: http://chewonthatblog.com/2008/09/22/my-first-experience-with-german-cuisine/

Well, I went to Zaffiro's. It was packed, but we didn't have to wait for a table. I could tell the waitresses were stressed, so I didn't make a big deal about the slow service (which I usually take with a grain of salt). The pizza was excellent, but it was not the greatest I've ever had. It wouldn't even make my top 5. But I liked it a lot. The sausage was very flavorful and the crust was crisp (I normally order pizza well done, and for some reason I didn't this time), but could have been even crispier. The sauce was what held the pizza down a little for me. It just wasn't as good as I hoped. Nevertheless, I'll probably be back, and I would recommend it. I had Frank's Pizza Palace in Appleton the night before and they were both close. I look forward to trying Wells Brothers in the future. I would love to hit it on my way back from Minnesota on October 26th.
